| Ravi Deecee is a known name in the publishing industry as CEO of DC Books, first ISO Certified publishing house in India and Current Books, one of the largest retail bookstore chains in India. DC Books is famed for its innovation in book production and nurturing of many a talented writer. He is also the son of the late DC Kizhakemuri, a name that is etched into the warp and weft of the Indian publishing industry and was also a freedom fighter, social activist and Padmabhushan Awardee. |
| Ravi has held positions like VP, Federation of Indian Publishers and GC, Kendra Sahitya Akademi. He has won many awards in publishing from the Federation of Indian Publishers and been an advisor on various India Government Committees. He has presented papers in many international events including Frankfurt Book Fair and serves on the Advisory Board of German Book Office, New Delhi. |
Dr. JK Nair, CEO |
| Dr. JK Nair has over 26 years of professional experience spanning across education, research and business management. Prior to joining EC Media, Dr Nair was working as Chief Operating Officer at Edutech Group, a leading learning & educational technology provider in Middle East, India, USA and Far East. At Edutech, he led the company's global operations and was responsible for shaping the company’s strategic direction, executing its business strategy and ensuring operational excellence. Earlier, he had worked with California Software Company (Calsoft) - a listed company - as their Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and played a key strategic leadership role in the company’s successful growth journey. Before joining Calsoft, Dr Nair worked with Ramco Systems where he occupied senior roles in several key initiatives including setting up of new business unit and practices, leading strategic assignments and establishing several multi-year customer engagements. |
| A keen academic and researcher, Dr. Nair is closely associated with several leading technical and business schools in India and abroad in various capacities and has over two dozen refereed publications to his credit. He currently serves on the panel of referees of a few international journals. A fellow of the Institution of Engineers and a member of the ASEE, Dr. Nair is an alumnus of IIT Chennai and COE Trivandrum. |
